ARCH 405 Interior Render Composite

This was an image i did for my last portfolio, but I've since spruced up a bite. The biggest change was integrating some semblance of a sky. Because of the many reds in the image i decided it need to be a sky in the late afternoon. The one thing that bugs me about the image still is the ground outside of the building. However I had to stop myself from going back to the sketchup model, do all new scenes and get all new shadows. Even though I have a new laptop that I can do all these actions much quicker....sometimes you just have to know when to move on. It's the best the image can be without taking the style to a more realistic tone. That however isn't the goal of this image. This image isn't suppose to be photo realistic. It's meant to convey a tone, a feel, how light interacts with the space from the outside in a more surreal since (late afternoon would not cast shadows like it is in this image). All that is in this image is scenes from sketchup with a lot of photoshop work.
